Mrs. Myrtle E. Polen, aged nineteen years, wife of Harry E. Polen, 1501 Union street died at 2:50 o'clock Sunday morning. She had been ill with consumption for some time but was confined to her bed only during the last few days of her lie. She was born in Jackson county, April 12, 1883, and had lived here for about fourteen years. About three years ago she was married to harry E. Polen, who together with a nine-months-old child, survive her. She also leaves her mother, Mrs. John Lacy, and sisters Mrs. Edward Lambert, Mrs. Lulu Hull and Miss Millie Lacy. Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. H. S. James, of the United Brethren church, of which Mrs. Polen was a member. Internment was made in Garland Brook Cemetery.
