MICHAEL HASTINGS

HAGERSTOWN, Oct. 19 - The death of Michael Hastings, 81, occurred yesterday at his home here. Death was due to paralysis, from which he suffered an attack Monday. Mr. Hastings was one of the oldest citizens of this place. He was born in Redding, Pa., and came to Wayne county when 18 years old. He is survived by four daughters and one son, Mrs. Robert Porch, Mrs. Earl Baver, Mrs. Albert Linn and Marshall Hastings of Connersville, and Mrs. Agnes Lancaster, who has had the care of her father during the many months of his invalidity.
The funeral services were held from the home this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. A. K. Love officiated. Burial in West Lawn cemetery.
