Margaret Virginia Smith, 86, of Spotsylvania County, formerly of Dale City, died Sunday, March 4, 2007, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Smith; and is survived by a son, James B. Smith of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three daughters, Virginia L. Stark of Nokesville, Carol A. Ramon of Commerce, Ga., and Beverly J. Crisp of Spotsylvania; a half-sister, Nancy Stewart of Largo, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, Md., at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, at the funeral home.
