ANNA MATILDA CHEW
The funeral of Miss Anna Matilda Chew, 80 years old, sister of the late Dr. Samuel Chew, who died yesterday morning of pneumonia, will take place at 3 o'clock this afternoon from the home, 3 Midvale road, Roland Park. Services will be conducted by the Rev. William A. McClenthen, rector of Mount Calvary Protestant Episcopal Church, of which Miss Chew was a member for 40 years. Burial will be in the family plot in Greenmount Cemetery.
Miss Chew was descended from a prominent Maryland family, being a daughter of the late Samuel and Henrietta Scott Chew. She was born in Baltimore and spent her whole life here. Surviving her are a sister, Miss Henrietta Chew and two nephews, Samuel and Henry Chew.
