Albert Adams, 67, Route 4, Bogue Chitto, died at 2:45 p.m. Friday at King's Daughters Hospital. He had been hospitalized there for approximately two weeks following a stroke.
He was born Feb. 15, 1900 in Lincoln County, the son of Pink and Elle Lofton Adams. He was a farmer and a member of the Johnson Grove Pentacostal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Isabelle Butler Adams; two daughters, Mrs. I.R. Smith, Brookhaven and Mrs. Julius Richardson, of Bogue Chitto; one son, Henry Adams of Vicksburg; three brothers, Doc Adams, Bogue Chitto, and Sam Adams and Pink Adams, both of Winnsboro, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Benton Smith of Bogue Chitto, Mrs. Frankie McGee, Brookhaven, Mrs. Mary Walls, Sicily Island, La., and 11 grandchildren.
Interment was in Calvery Cemetery near Bogue Chitto.
Pallbearers were Sylvester Britt, Bobby Gene Miller, Bob Smith, Marvin Delaughter, T.J. Wright and J. T. Lofton.
