Erected by Margaret Cruickshank to the memory of her beloved husband John Soutter, who died at Whitetree Pluscarden Sept. 30th 1857 aged 42 years. Also their children Margaret who died August 10th 1857 aged 10 years. And Elizabeth who died in infancy. And William who died July 31st 1871 aged 31 years. The above Margaret Cruickshank died March 6th 1885 aged 70 years.
