Ruth Cline Heinz passed away on June 10, 2017 as a result of a house fire.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, VA conducted by Sammy Campbell.

She was born October 12, 1953 to the late Alvin A. Cline Sr. and Marie E. Cline in Washington, D.C. along with her twin brother Donald.

Ruth was a dedicated employee of Sysco Food Services prior to her illness.

She was diagnosed with lung cancer in April 2010. For the past six years she courageously met the challenges of being bedridden. During this time her faithful friend and caregiver, Emily Domer, attended to her needs.

Ruth is survived by her husband, John Heinz Jr.; brothers, Alvin A. Cline Jr. (Sharon) of Edinburg, George E. Cline (fiancee Pam Brown) of Front Royal, Willard W. Cline (Natalie) of Richmond, and Donald L. Cline (Janet) of Front Royal; sisters, Edna Hiserman (Arthur) and Betty J. Lineweaver (Larry), all of Front Royal; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ray and Jane McCorkle. Her life was also enriched by her furry friends Peachy, Sunshine, Levi, Jenny, Scooby, and Tucker.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald "Ronnie" Cline.

Ruth will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She wanted to give thanks to the many dear friends in particular the Sysco Fan Club for their support.
