SULPHUR - Services for Ruby F. Colbert, 79, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2007, at St. Francis Catholic Church with Father Russell Hewes officiating. Interment will be at Oaklawn Cemetery. Rosary service is at 7 this evening at DeArman's Clagg Funeral Home.

Born on Jan. 24, 1928, in Salisaw, Okla. to Robert Burchett and Dora Bethel Burchett, she died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, in Ardmore.

She and G. Dixie Colbert were married on May 27, 1948, in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death in 1980.

Raised in Oklahoma City, she graduated from Central High School and moved to Sulphur in 1954. She retired from the National Park Service.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Dr. Shelley Colbert Bohn and Dr. Tim Bohn, Moore; five sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Cheryl Colbert, Flower Mound, Texas, Tim and Michelle Colbert and Scott D. and Sherri Colbert, Sulphur, Mark H. and Kim Colbert, Ardmore, and John R. and Jennifer Colbert, Oklahoma City; a brother, Bob Burchett, Havasu City, Ariz.; sister, Lois Jones, Oklahoma City; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Family members will serve as bearers.
