Connie Jacquez Bernal born June 21, 1925 in Tucson, Arizona. Went home to be with our Lord on March 4, 2007. Preceded in death by her mother, Rita Moreno Jacquez; father, Jose Duran Jacquez; husband, Augustine R. Bernal Sr.; daughter, Gloria Ann Contreras. Survived by three sisters, Noy, Lila, and Tichi; sons, Bill Contreras (Tina), Steve Bernal (Christine) and Ronnie Bernal; grandchildren, Jill, Billy, Jessica, Anthony, Ashlee and Nicholas; great- grandchildren, Cassie, Andrew, Derek and Janneza. Mom was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her children's happiness. Her exhibition of love was evident until the very end. She will be greatly missed on Earth by all who knew her and loved her. Bye for now, for one day we will meet up again. The family will receive friends and guests on Sunday, March 11, 2007, from 6:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, North Chapel, 204 S. Stone Ave., with Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Mass will be offered on Monday, March 12, 2007, 10:30 A.M. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. She will be laid to rest in peace at Holy Hope Cemetery following the mass. Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY.
