He married Esther Elizabeth Farnham in about 1920 and they would have four sons and two daughters. In 1920 they lived in Melville, North Dakota with first son Lewis, and Lester was a laborer.
By 1930 they were divorced and he was still in Melville working for a railroad. He was in Woodworth in 1940, still working for a railroad. His children Inez and Russell lived with him at that time.
Lester moved to Tiberon, California in 1949.
He was a retired culinary worker, his last position being with Sam's Anchor Cafe in Tiburon.
Lester was survived by his four sons, Leslie I. Bohn of Maxwell, Colusa County; Kenneth C., William G. and Russell R. Bohn of Tiburon: two daughters, Mrs. Inez Oeffner of Missouri and Mrs. Betty Lou Holmburg of Oakland.
