VIRGINIA BEACH - Mrs. Hattie Seymour Brashear of 1900 Daton Road died Sunday in her home, She was the wife of Vernon R. Brashear and was a native of Camdon, N.C. She was a Methodist.
Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marvis Powers of Virginia Beach; a son, Claude Gregory Jr. of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel by the Rev. Joseph Parker, retired. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will be at 1312 Braddock Ave., Virginia Beach.
