Born Nov. 25, 1925 to Leona (Lambertson) and Clarence Fetz, she worked as a nurse at Dickey's Nursing Home and for Dr. M.C. Drake in Elwood. Lois was a member of Alexandria First United Methodist Church for many years.
She is survived by daughters Lita (Barry) Jarrett, of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Rita (Doug) Petry, of Englewood, Fla., Theresa (Joe) Rubrecht, of Anderson, and Dina (David)Sluss, of Cumberland; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Lois is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Willard R. Brooks; her parents; brother Jack and his wife Betty Fetz and brother Bruce "Pete" and his wife Marilyn Fetz.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon at the Jackley-Landrum Funeral Home, with services at noon officiated by Pastor Doug Bohall of the First United Methodist Church. Burial will take place in Elwood City Cemetery.
