DEATHS
Abraham Penland, seventy years old, 1321 South Fifteenth street, a retired employe (sic) of the Aunt Jemima mills, died yesterday at a local hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jennie Penland; five sons, Roy Penland, Ericson, Neb., Charles Penland, Burlington, Vt., and Jesse, Cari and Orville Penland, St. Joseph; four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Spicer, Mrs. Goldie Taylor, Mrs. Nellie Morgan and Mrs. Evelyn McCord, St. Joseph; two brothers, Bladen Penland, Clarinda, Iowa, and Isaac Penland, New Market, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. William McKee, Shenandoah, Iowa, and Mrs. Esther Browder, Rock Island, Ill., and fourteen grandchildren. The body is at E. R. Sidenfaden mortuary.
