Thomas D. Carmany, 73, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at his home. Born on April 14, 1944 in Massillon to the late John and Marjorie (Dickerhoof) Carmany, he had been a Manchester/Green resident most of his life, graduating from Manchester High School. Tom retired from BF Goodrich with over 30 years of service and then worked for Rubber Maid after his retirement. He was a proud Army Veteran having served during Vietnam. Tom enjoyed caning chairs, making stained glass, watching high school sports and golfing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judith (Wenger) Carmany; daughters, Patricia (Doug) Orahood, Shannon Carmany; grandchildren, John Thomas, Andrew; brother, James (Barbara) Carmany; aunt, Jane (Wayne) Hudkins; uncle, Bruce (Janet) Carmany and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held WEDNESDAY, 1:00pm, at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home, 624 E. Cherry St. (Rt. 93) Canal Fulton and where friends may call ONE HOUR PRIOR to service time on Wednesday. Burial at Manchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
