Kathryn Armenta-Palmer, age 67, went home to be with our Lord on September 23, 2017.
Her family and friends will remember her beautiful smile and generous heart and wonderful cooking. Kathryn was a recipient of many awards from GE and Smiths foods where she later retired from.
Kathryn is survived by her loving children, son, Robert Harvey and his wife, Carol-Lynn, daughter, Leslie Ranalli and her boyfriend, John Matteucci, step-sons, Lance Palmer and Robert Palmer, grandchildren, Kyle and Kaitlynn Harvey and step-grandchildren, Zack Palmer and Ashley Palmer. Kathryn is also survived by her siblings, Joe Armenta, Bobby and Vivian Armenta, Jake and Daisy Armenta, Matt and Teresa Armenta and Pauline and Gilbert Torres, in-laws, Gilbert Sandoval and Linda Armenta and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Jacobo and Margarita Armenta, her husband, John Palmer, sisters, Yolanda Mehring, Ethel Sandoval, her beloved twin, Kathleen Cervantes and brothers, Clarence Armenta and Deryl Armenta, in-laws, Beatrice Armenta and Ralph Cervantes, niece, Denise Armenta and great-nephew, Sidro Ortiz.
Kathryn’s life celebration will begin on Saturday, September 30, 2017 with a Rosary at 9:00 a.m. followed with Mass by Rev. Arkad Biczak and Fr. Charles Dougherty at 10:00 a.m. at John XXIII Catholic Church, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE. Interment will follow at the Pueblo de Tijeras Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Jaramillo, John Matteucci, Matt Armenta Jr., Troy Mehring, Gilbert Thomas Torres and Julian Armenta. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steve Armenta, Kevin Berget, Gilbert Sandoval Jr., Vince Armenta, Vidal Armenta, Marcus Armenta and Jonathan Ortiz.
