Hosea Oliphant died at home in Kennerdell Sunday. He was born May 14, 1850, son of Isaiah and Mary Morris Oliphant of Butler County.
Surviving are his widow; children, Mrs. J. W. Riddle, Mrs. J. L. Humphrey, and Mrs. C. F. Shultz of Clintonville, Mrs. R. S. Spindler and Mrs. N. R. Brown of Franklin, Mrs. Gerald Stanton of Russell, Grover Oliphant of Kennerdell; and a step-son, Fred Fleming of Kennerdell.
Services will be at 2 pm Tuesday at the Humphrey home in Clintonville with Rev. Bish of Clintonville and Rev. H. B. Davis of Sharon officiating. Burial will be in Clintonville Methodist Cemetery.
