Professional Hockey Player. For five seasons he played at the position of centre in the National Hockey League with the New York Islanders and the Detroit Red Wings. Born Thomas William Miller in Kitchener, He died after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born in Kitchener, Tom attended the University of Denver, winning two NCAA Championships, voted All American and graduating with a Civil Engineering degree. Owned by the New York Rangers organization, Tom played five years of pro hockey, two with the New York Islanders before buying his beloved farm property at Russeldale. His love of the outdoors, wood working and nature, surrounded him at the family farm he built with Carol. Tom's positive outlook on life, calm approach and enormous love of his family and friends will be remembered by everyone who knew him.
