Carl Meadows, age 68 of Strunk, KY., passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017, at his residence.  He was born February 21, 1949 in Jellico, Tennessee to Arnold and Della Musgrove Meadows.  Carl worked in the logwoods and loved all things outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.  Survivors include his companion: Della Mae Meadows of Strunk, his son Chad and wife Samantha Meadows of Whitley City, brothers: Gary and wife Lana Meadows of Strunk, Bob and wife Barbara Meadows of Strunk, sisters: Barbara Stanfill and special friend Greg Heron of Strunk, Irene Meadows Luton of Strunk, Sandra and special friend Rhonda West of Strunk, brother-in-law: Frank Stanfill of Strunk, grandchildren: Makayla and husband Ricky Flannery of Strunk, Dylan and Luke Meadows of Strunk, great-grandchildren: McKinlee & Keeton Flannery also of Strunk.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers: Orville Lee, Paul, Roger, Kenneth, Larry and Ernest Meadows, brother-in-law: Rick Luton and nephew: Jamie Meadows.  Funeral services are being held in the Chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 3:00 PM with visitation starting at 1:00 PM until time of services.  Burial will follow services and be in the Meadows Cemetery on Osborne Creek.
