Frank Berry, 83, West Fairview Avenue, died at 10:15 a.m. July 4, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born July 28, 1904, to Joseph and Savina Travis Berry. On September 2, 1923, he married the former Cloie Bunn who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Myron (Opal) Cottrill, Frankfort, Mrs. Donald (Violet) Pollock and Mrs. Joan Hess, both of Chillicothe, and Mrs. Frank (Connie) Vest of Waverly; five sons, Robert V., Cincinnati, Raymond E., Circleville, George J., John A., and Richard, all of Chillicothe; 38 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Madge) Staat, and Lena Johnson, both of Cincinnati. He was predeceased by a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Martha) Pelcha; four sons, Reuben, Larry, Joseph and Frank; and two brothers and a sister.
Mr. Berry retired from the Mead Corporation on Aug. 1, 1969, after 43 1/2 years of service.
He was a member of the High Street Church of Christ in Christian Union, where funeral services will be held at 10a.m. Thursday with Pastor Kenneth Libby officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's 5-9 p.m. Wednesday.
