Pallbearers for Ben Potter, 56, of Meades Lake Road, who was killed Monday in a slate fall accident at the Pyro Refractories, were Earl Kelly, James and William Belcher, Donald Turner, Dean Miller and Estel Williams.

Services were held Thursday in the Tick Ridge Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Herschel Salyers and Rev. Ernie Percell officiating. Burial was in the Vernon Cemetery.
