Mrs. Allen was a member of First Baptist Church Spartanburg and retired owner of Ann’s Beauty Shop after 25 years of service to the community.
Survivors include her husband of over 60 years, Ralph D. Allen; son, Rodney Allen (Lisa) of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Ryan Allen (Amber) of Winston-Salem, NC and Dr. Ashley Fleshman (Greg) of Jackson Hole, WY; four great-grandchildren, Cadence, Emily, Noah, and Rockwell; and sisters, Merlene Page (William) of Green Creek, NC and Janice Stone of Roebuck, SC.
Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 PM Sunday, October 15, 2017, at First Baptist Church Spartanburg, 250 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29306. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 PM, at the church, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Donald J. Wilton. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 1300 Fernwood-Glendale Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
