Walter H. Adelman, 75, died Monday, February 23, at his home.

Born April 7, 1922 in Randolph, he was the son of George and Mary (Englehart) Adelman. He was a life resident of Randolph.

Mr. Adelman retired from H.M. Miller Construction Co.

He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Randolph and a third-degree Knight of Columbus.

A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a life member of Mogadore Veterans of Foreign Wars No. 8487.

Survivors include his wife, Doris (Edmondson), to whom he was married for 47 years; sons, Dennis (Jean) of Allen, Texas, and Larry, Gary (Karen), Michael (Shirley) and David (Kim), all of Randolph; four grandchildren; brother, Joseph of Akron; and sister, Mary Gray of Kent.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Ravenna Chapel. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church in Randolph. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph.

Memorials may be made to the Randolph Fire Department and Rescue Squad.
