Grace Mahnke

Mrs. Harold (Grace) Mahnke, 64, of 2614 S. Eighth St., died Friday, June 5, 1992 at her home.

Grace was born March 6, 1928 in Manitowoc, the daughter of the late Edwin and Alice (Bruchert) Bialek. She attended Manitowoc schools. On March 18, 1946, she and Harold Mahnke, Sr, were united in marriage in Sheboygan. Grace had been employed as a cook at the Little Red Schoolhouse Child Care Center.

Grace is survived by her husband, Harold, Sr.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Louis Raml and Lynn and Jeffrey Frazier, all of Sheboygan; one son and daughter-in-law, Harold Jr. and Vicki Mahnke of Grand Forks, N.D.; eight grandchildren, Carrie, Paul, Mike, Karen, Nancy, Allison, Jackie and Andrew; three sisters and brothers in law, Geri and Edwin Weinecke of Manitowoc, Judy and Eugene Kriescher of Two Rivers and Pauline and Richard Wolfert of Sheboygan Falls; six brothers and sisters-in-law, Edwin and Lavern Bialek, Allen and Sandy Bialek, James and Nancy Bialek, all of Manitowoc, Richard and Sandy Bialek of Shoto, Frank and LaVonne Bialek and Paul and Marlene Bialek, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, LaVern Mahnke of Riverside, Calif. She was also preceded in death by one infant son, Michael and one sister, Shirley Holshbach.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 8, 1992 at the Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home-Southside Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Robert Page, pastor of Ebenezer United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
