Janice Adkinson Keesling Spreitzer, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017. She was born December 16, 1926 to Ansel and Lois Adkinson in Danville, Kentucky. Janice was a long time member of Broadway Christian Church. She graduated from Lafayette high School in 1945 and retired from IBM in 1987 after 25 years of service. Janice is survived by her husband of 45 years, Donald Spreitzer, of Lexington, Kentucky and a brother, Robert Adkinson of Harrodsburg, Kentucky. She was predeceased by another brother, Donald Adkinson and his wife Bertha formerly of Ft. Valley, Georgia. Janice is also survived by her four children: Cheryl Keesling Merrell of Nicholasville, Kentucky; Patricia Keesling Stammler (Jeff) of Sylvania, Ohio; David Keesling (Jamie) of Georgetown, Kentucky and Robert Bryan Keesling (Molly) of Bryantsville, Kentucky; five step-children: David Spreitzer (Mary), Catherine Spreitzer Hunt, Teresa Spreitzer, Laura Spreitzer Nelson, all of Lexington, Kentucky and Stephen Spreitzer of Louisville, Kentucky; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; one niece and several nephews. Burial will be in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Jessamine County, Kentucky.
