Billy “Richard” Henderson, 74, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017. He was the son of the late Billy Watt and Daisy Hughes Henderson and was the husband of Peggy O’Neal Henderson. He was retired from JD Hollingsworth in the Tool and Dye Department and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include two sons, John Deadwyler and James Kevin Deadwyler and wife, Yohana, all of Laurens; three sisters, Linda Krohl of Gray Court, Sandra Jones of Gray Court and Jerry Starnes of Piedmont; four grandchildren, Amber, Corbin, Alyssa and Hailey Deadwyler; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Tina Leatherwood.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Elizabeth St. Church of God with Rev. Derrik Morgan and Rev. JD Putman officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
