Katherine “Kate” Kearney, 77 of Loveland CO, passed away Oct. 14, 2017 unexpectedly while on vacation in Boise ID. She was born on Sept. 6, 1940 in Grover, CO along with her twin brother Keith Anderson. She grew up on a small farm in Grover. She met and married Mike Kearney July 4, 1958, they started their family in Loveland.
She was preceded in death by her husband Mike Kearney, her parents John and Edna (McCluer) Anderson and brothers Marvin, Lynn and Kenny Anderson.
Survivors include three daughters, a son-in-law, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, twin brother, sister, two sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. [survivor's names omitted].
Kate worked at Hewlett Packard in Loveland, San Diego and Greeley from 1968 until 1998 when she retired.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, she also enjoyed reading, crafts, cooking and politics. She and Mike enjoyed seeing new places and spent many years living and traveling in their RV.

Funeral services will be held at Viegut Funeral Home on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 2:00pm with viewing beginning at Noon and reception following services. Cremation will be completed after services with a private inurnment at Loveland Burial Park.
