He was born November 30, 1944 in Kimball, Nebraska to John and Edna Anderson. He married Helen L. Marick on August 30, 1970 in Grover, Colorado.
Andy served his country in the United States Air Force.
He attended the Wiggins Community Church and was a member of the American Legion and the Morgan County Republicans. He enjoyed reading and sports of all kinds, including high school, college and professional sports.
Survivors include his wife Helen of Wiggins, daughters, Heather Delpy and husband Scott of Sterling, Leslie Anderson and Shana Anderson both of Evans, sons, Steven Anderson of Aurora and Ryan Anderson of Wiggins, his brother, Keith Anderson and his wife Hanorah of Longmont, sisters, Katherine Kearney of Loveland and Evelyn Everhart and her husband Dennis of Sterling, grandchildren, Eva Rachell Anderson of Weldona, Cody Anderson of Sterling, Randel Anderson of Fort Morgan, Joshua Anderson of Sterling and Caleb Delpy of Sterling.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents, his son, David Anderson, and one brother, Lynn Anderson.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wiggins Community Church. Inurnment at a later date will be in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
