Mrs. Blackney, a teacher for more than 30 years, died Thursday in a Marysville High School classroom after suffering a heart attack.
She was born Aug. 14, 1917 in Port Huron. She was married to Elmer T. Blackney on May 4, 1943, in Port Huron.
