Mrs. Emma Barron passed away Sunday evening, April 6th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Barrows, South Main Street, aged 73 years. Mrs. Barron was the widow of Thornton Barron who died at their home in the town of Mount Morris, 15 years ago. Since then she had made her home with her daughter, and most of the time had been in poor health from heart trouble. The last illness in which she was confined to the bed was of three weeks duration.
Besides the daughter, she is survived by four sons, Henry of Perry Center, Clifton of Mount Morris, Jay of Avoca and Charles of Friendship, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the home this afternoon at 2 o’clock, their pastor, Rev. John B. Freestone officiating and interment will be in the family lot in Nunda Cemetery.
