Anthony J. Valachovic, 76, lived in Glenville for the past 37 years. He was a graduate of the former Mont Pleasant High School, Schenectady. Mr. Valachovic was a methods man for small to medium motors at the General Electric Co. in Schenectady for 36 years before retiring in 1979. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and was a member of the former Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church on Congress Street in Schenectady. Mr. Valachovic was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club and the Knights of Columbus Council 201. Survivors include his wife, Genevieve Kedzior Valachovic; a son; a daughter; two brothers, William Valachovic of Niskayuna and Bernard Valachovic of Rotterdam; a sister, Anna Grosselfinger of Suffern; and two grandchildren.
