Mr. James Curtis Arendale, 60, of Memphis, TN passed away on October 28, 2017, at his home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Ray Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Ray Funeral Home with Brother Charles McKendree officiating.

Curt was born on December 5, 1956 to Edward Eugene Arendale and Mary Beatrice Arendale in Marks, MS. He was a hard working mechanic for 40 years. Curt had many hobbies he enjoyed during his spare time such as fishing, hunting, and riding his dirt bike. He enjoyed visiting the mountains. At one time he owned a 1967 Chevelle which he loved and took pride in. He loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren that were so dear to his heart. He was known for helping anyone who needed his help.

He is preceded by his parents, Edward Eugene Arendale and Mary Beatrice Arendale; brothers, Jimmie Lynn Arendale and Tommie Arendale.

Mr. Arendale is survived by his fiancé, Pamela Bassie; son, Matt Arendale (Jessica); daughters, Ashley Arendale and Lauren Paige Bassie; grandchildren, Maddie Bassie, Carly Rape, Tyler Rape, and Hayden Sorrels; sisters, Nina Hanson (Donny) and Tina Ray (Glenn); and brothers, Eddie Gene Arendale (Linda), Johnnie Arendale (Barbara), Rickie Arendale (Linda), and Mike Arendale (Cedar).
