Mr. Kirby died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born Wednesday, June 29, 1932, in Morgan County, to the late Fletcher P. Kirby and Geneva McDonald Kirby. He was employed by Wolverine Tube, in the finishing department, prior to his retirement after 30 years of service. He served in the U.S. Army in Europe for 3 years from 1953 to 1955.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Kirby; one daughter, Tarian Lynn Kirby Fisher (Robert L.); and a few nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers: family requests memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
