Our 1000th Memorial seems fitting to be one of our much loved pets.

Cosmo a beautiful little girl white Toy Poodle we picked the name before we got the pup!

also answered to "Dodi" as a little nickname

Over here in England in the North West is the much loved sea-side resort of Blackpool, after the summer season has finished there is a huge lighting display in the Autumn (Fall) months starting on the first Friday in September.

Anyway this is how Cosmo came to join us; Bob asked the kids if they wanted to go to Blackpool that year or get a little pup, the boys said that they would like a pup to we took them to look at some pups.
Helen picked a tiny little ball of fluff and we had just got back to the car and the kids said something like "Can we go to blackpool now Dad?".
So mum got her little girl and the kids got to go to Blackpool as well!

This cute little pup never grew much bigger than when we got her, she would never have won any breed shows as she had short little bowed front legs and slightly taller back legs and walked like a cowboy or a prize fighter as we later found out.

Cosmo was so tiny but boy she was the BOSS, if you did something she didn't like she would quickly bite you and draw blood and your poor wound would sting for hours!

If she was in a mean mood only the brave or the foolhardy would go anywhere near her, so we had to push her out of places using a broom if she wouldn't come out on her own. We made sure our fingers didn't go anywhere near her face!

Even with her sulks she was a much loved pup, Bob's dad John Bryan "Jack" (now passed) loved Cosmo to bits and used to sit her on his knee and hand feed her great slices of the best ham you could get. Jack used to laugh at her as when he was a little bit slow with giving her the meat she would bite him!

For such a little one she just loved to eat and I think she must have thought she was human because she just loved COOKIES, home made Spaghetti this gave her a big lovely clown smile after eating it, COOKIES, Chocolate, COOKIES and did I mention the COOKIES?

She so loved COOKIES she thought her name was that, all you had to do was shout COOKIES and she would come running from where ever she was to get her fix , her little ears flapping as she ran.

Didn't much like having baths but loved the hair dryer and was always getting her hair changed into one colour or another with the food dye, never was nice and clean for long!

Always would walk at the back of her mum's heels no matter where she went.

Left us in a rush after finding out her heart was too big for her little body and she could die at any moment, the tablets didn't work and she died at the vets while having an attack.

**Our love goes out to the wonderful parents of the very beautiful
