Hugh Larry Sanders, age 83 of Hoover passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017. He was an Insurance Broker and a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. Larry was a member of Riverchase United Methodist Church and the Kiwanis Club. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Barbara Cruce Sanders; daughters: Terry (Charlie) Martin and Cindy Latimer; grandchildren: Bre (Joseph) Davis, Hays (Meredith) Latimer, Kellon Nipper, Jordan Latimer and Chad (Ginger) Martin; six great grandchildren; sisters: Edla Davis, Sandra Griffith and Patsy Maloney; brother, Russell Sanders. A private graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2017. The family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverchase United Methodist Church, 1953 Old Montgomery Hwy, Hoover AL 35244 or The Big Oak Ranch, PO Box 507, Springville AL 35146.
