Edla Sanders Pierce Davis passed away December 19, 2017. She was born in McMinnville on October 18, 1926 to Alvin Noah and Wava Webb Sanders.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Faye Clendenon, Doris Perkins and Audrey Carothers; two brothers, Ralph Sanders and Larry “Bud” Sanders; and son-in-law, Wayne Hill.

She is survived by two daughters, Laydonna Pierce Hill and Jacqueline (Scott) Webb; two sisters, Sandra Griffith and Patricia Maloney; brother, Russell Sanders; grandchildren, Bradley (Stephanie) Hill, Chelsea (Micah) Clem, Jessea Webb, Maddea (Dani) Ramirez and Jaxon Webb; great-grandchildren, Lucy and Norah Clem, Millana Ramirez and Trevor Montoya; and a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 in High’s Chapel with Chandra Gillispie, Scott Webb, Micah Clem and Dani Ramirez officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery with Mark McKee officiating at the graveside. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at High’s.
