HAMILTON, VERA
On March 17, 2007, Vera (nee Panko), age 86, passed away. Born in the Morgan Village section of Camden, Vera had been a resident of Fairview until moving to Haddon Township where she had lived for almost 50 years. She and her husband 'Shorty' were the former owners of Terminal Vending in Fairview and later Oaklyn. She and her husband owned and enjoyed many private boats, airplanes and motorcoaches. She loved her family and will be dearly missed.
Vera is the beloved wife of George 'Shorty' Hamilton Sr. She is the devoted mother of Pat DiSalvio, George (Janet) Hamilton Jr., Linda Bach, Sharon (Richard) Gaidas, Joyce Hamilton, Joan Cardegnio, Richard (Kathy) Hamilton and Deborah (Tom) Lucchese. She is the loving grandmother of Tracy Bach, Brian Bach, Robert Bach, Jamie Sapnas, Samantha Hamilton, George Hamilton III, Max Hamilton, Danielle Wilder, Crystal Cardegnio-Weller, Jason Hamilton, Olivia Hamilton, Nicholas Lucchese and Rachel Lucchese. She is lovingly survived by four great grandchildren. She is the dear sister of Helen Dubricki, Paul Panko and the late Ann Belinsky. She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bob and Mary Hamilton.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at the HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 9 White Horse Pike (at Kings Hwy), Haddon Heights. There will also be a viewing Wednesday morning from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at St. Rose of Lima RC Church, 4th Avenue and Kings Highway, Haddon Heights where Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Assoc. South Jersey Chapter, 3 Eves Drive, Marlton, NJ 08053.
