MAXIE BEGOLE
---Many friends of the Begole family will be grieved to learn of the death of Mrs. Maxie Begole which occurred in Hooker, Oklahoma on August 8. If she had lived until September she would have been sixty-one.
---The funeral and burial were held at Hooker Tuesday.
---Mrs. Begole is known here, having visited her son, Ray Begole and family here, who were former residents of this city.
---Maxie Miles was born in Adair County, Missouri in 1858 and lived in this county most of her life.
---She was first married to a Mr. Clemison and later to Mr. Begole in 1889. To them were born one son, Ray Begole of Clark, Missouri. There were six step-children, Judge Begole, Denver, Will Begole, La Plata, John Begole, Mel Rouge, Louisiana, Mrs. T.E. Elmore, Kirksville, Mrs. Minnie Elmore, Hooker, Oklahoma and Charles Begole, Gifford.
---Mrs. Begole joined the United Brethern church at Gibbs twenty years ago and was a splendid christian woman.
---Mr. Begole preceded her in death about a year ago at the age of seventy-six years.
