Born March 26, 1918, to Lois Fern Green and Robert Greer of Kahlotus, Washington, she came to the Sacramento area in 1942. For many years she was employed by the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles, retiring in 1973.
Survivors include sister Bonnie Clark of Beverly Hills, Florida, brother Robert Greer of Yuma, Arizona, and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death on July 29, 2002, by her husband of 63 years, Donald E. Byers.
Family and friends are invited to visitation Thursday September 5, 2002 from 4pm-8pm and attend services Friday September 6, 2002 at 11am both at Sacramento Memorial Lawn 6100 Stockton Blvd. Sacramento, CA.
