A funeral will be held tomorrow for Lawrence "Pee Wee" Howard, 23, of 513 Cranston St., a victim of a stabbing who was found dead early Monday on the southbound service road along Route 95 near Jr's Fastlane, 327 Washington St.
Born in Jacksonville, Fla., a son of Willie James Smith of Jacksonville, and Rutha (Queen) Cooks of Providence, he lived in Providence for 22 years.
Mr. Howard had worked in manufacturing and landscaping.
Besides his parents he is survived by three brothers and three sisters.
