ANNIS DIES AT HER DAUGHTER'S HOME. --- Mrs. Anna E. Annis, eighty-four years old, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mitchell Carothers, of south west of Bremen Sunday afternoon.
Anna Eliza Ream, daughter of Andrew and Leah Ream, was born in Waynesburg, Stark County, Ohio, May 18, 1841 and was eighty-four years, seven months and twenty-three days old at the time of her death. She was united in marriage with Josiah Annis July 5, 1860. Ten children were born to this union, seven of whom survive. The husband and three children preceded her in death. The surviving children are are Charles Annis and Mrs. Frances Huff of Bremen, Mrs. Lottie Lintner of South Bend, Edgar Annis of Flint, Mich., Mrs. Jennie Carothers of near Plymouth, Ervin Annis of South Bend and Mrs. Carrie Troyer of Port Arthur, Texas. She is survived also by twenty grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at two oclock at Grace United Brethren church. Rev. W. P. and Alice Noble, pastors of the church, officiating. Burial was in the Huff cemetery, northwest of Bremen.
