Rebecca McNamee Adams, age 67, went to be with her Lord following complications from a stroke on Nov. 26, 2017 surrounded by her loving children at Keefe Memorial Hospital. Rebecca was born on Jan. 5, 1950 in Tulsa, Ok to Harry T. and Jacquelyn (Bond) McNamee, and was the youngest of 2 children. As a young girl Rebecca (Bekki) enjoyed dance, cheerleading, theater, piano, horseback riding, and excelled academically. She was joined in marriage to Bill Lowe on Dec. 1, 1974 in Cheyenne Wells, CO, and to this union 4 children were born. Although raised in a city, Bekki enjoyed living on the farm south of Cheyenne Wells, and demonstrated to her children a strong work ethic and incredible resiliency. Bekki lived in Cheyenne Wells most of her adult life, and has always considered Cheyenne County her home.
Bekki will be most remembered for her giving spirit, her determination in the face of adversity, and her unconditional love for her family. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of loving her family and God above all else.
Bekki was preceded in death by her parents and her older brother, Harry T. McNamee Jr. She is survived by her 4 children & 10 grandchildren.
