1934 When Claudine was about 4 years of age her parents divorced. With her mother and 3 sisters, the family moved to Kansas to live with relatives. Claudine was raised by her Aunt Ora Harris Armstrong & family, her 3 sisters, Juanita, Anna & Mabel, went with Aunt Mabel Harris. Her mother went to work as a Nurse to help support her girls.

Claudine M. Taylor, 86, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Medical Center of The Rockies in Loveland. She was born December 31, 1929 in Lamoni, [ Decatur ] IA and moved to Abilene, Kansas at the age of four where she was raised by her aunt and uncle. Claudine graduated from Abilene High School. She married Stephen Taylor on July 14, 1948 and they moved to Fort Morgan, CO in March of 1953. Claudine worked as an Executive Secretary at Fort Morgan High School for 26 years before her retirement in 1994. Claudine was an avid reader, enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, and shopping.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Taylor of Fort Morgan; two daughters, a son,seven great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

NOTE: Brother is Harry F. Armstrong,son of Ora & Frank.[Cousin]
