Funeral services for Mrs. Eloyce Hendrix Davey, 89, of Marion, LA, will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sharon Baptist Church in Dubach. Officiating the service will be Rev. Carroll Holmes. Interment will follow at Sharon Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.
Eloyce was born on June 28, 1928 in Hico, LA and passed away on December 2, 2017 in Farmerville, LA. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church and a retired registered nurse. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Lucile Cooper Hendrix, husbands, Forrest Piper, and Ed Davey, son Michael Hunt, sister, Carolyn Hendrix Whitard, and brother Lee Roy Day.
Survivors include her sister, Lynn Wheeler, husband Joe B. Wheeler; nieces, Nancy Guthrie and husband Sam, Sue Ellen McCallum and husband Jim, nephews, Allen Whitard and wife Lisa, Joe M. Wheeler and wife Lisa, Tommy Wheeler and wife Sharon, and Gary Wheeler and wife Hannah, sister-in-law, Mary Lou Day; also several great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 5, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. till time of service at church.
Memorials may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital or LA. Baptist Childrens Home or Charity of donors Choice.
