"Funeral services for Joseph Haggerty, of Route 2, Karnack, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at Colliers Chapel Baptist church, Karnack, with Rev. President Noel officiating. Burial will be in Adams Cemetery, in Karnack, under direction of Lewis Funeral Home. Mr. Haggerty died Thursday, April 12, 1990, at Marshall Memorial Hospital. Born in Karnack, he was a son of Sanders Haggerty and Amie Broadnax Haggerty. Survivors include his wife, Josephine Haggerty; one son, Thomas E. Haggerty, of Jefferson; one sister, Ira Haggerty, of Marshall; and seven grandchildren."
