Russell G. Schlecht, 48, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, passed away on January 10, 2011 at his residence. Born: July 2, 1962 in Mildenhall, England, he was a son of Gail Schlecht of Phillipsburg, NJ and the late Lida Piatt Schlecht. Personal: He was employed at Walmart, Pohatcong Township, NJ, previously he was employed at Woolworth's in Phillipsburg, NJ. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, class of 1982. He was an avid coin collector, active in martial arts, he enjoyed singing while playing his guitar.
Survivors: In addition to his father, he is survived by sisters, Nancy Gellock of Lower Nazareth Township, PA, Cindy Parks of Effort, PA; nieces and nephews, Dana, Richard and Gail Hoadley, Dylan and Tim Parks; great-niece, Madison Hoadley. He was predeceased by a sister, Bonnie Burke.
