DREAD CANCER Caused Death of Mrs. Benjamin Halfin Friday.

Mrs. Benjamin Halfin, wife of a well known farmer, living six miles south of the city, died Friday afternoon at 3:20, unable to longer withstand the ravages of a cancer.

Mrs. Halfin was about fifty years of age, and widely known throughout the community where she lived. She was the mother of Al Halfin and Mrs. Robert Campbell, of this city. Her husband and a number of other relatives also survive. The funeral arrangements are now being completed, but the service will probably be held at the house on Sunday afternoon, Rev. Howed officiating. Interment will be in the city cemetery.
