Anna (Kochan) Bober, 94, of Linden and Lavallette, N.J., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, at the Delaire Nursing and Convalescent Center, Linden. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at 9:45 a.m. from the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 E. St. George Avenue, Linden, N.J. 07036, at Elizabeth city line (908) 352-9190. Funeral Mass is at St. Adalbert R.C. Church, Elizabeth, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Linden. Visiting is Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Born in Elizabeth, Mrs. Bober had lived in Linden the past 52 years. She retired as a testing technician from Victory Engineering, Springfield. Mrs. Bober was past president and secretary of the Linden Senior Citizens Thursday Club, and was a lover of the Jersey Shore, a great cook, and traveled the world until age 92. She was the beloved wife of the late Roman Bober (1984) and the devoted mother of Raymond Bober and his wife, Marie of Woodbridge and Loretta Bober of Linden, and cherished grandmother of Marian and Marie Ann Bober. She is the loving sister of John Kochan, Rev. Father Frederick Kochan, and Josephine Wasilewski, all of Lavallette. She is also survived by her dear sister-in-law, Lottie Ziobro, cousins, Dorota and Wieslaw Pieta, and by several nieces and nephews.
