Blanche Beutler Alder, 89, passed Dec. 25, 2017. She was born in Dayton, Idaho, on Sept. 16, 1928, to Walter and Loverill Kemp Beutler. She married Reo Griffeth Alder in the Logan LDS Temple on May 27, 1955. She served and participated in all church organizations including a mission to the Northern States along with 18 years in genealogical research and indexing. She taught school for 18 years.
She is survived by her children, Steve (Deanne), Suzette Alder, Brock (Cynthia), Trent (Stacey), 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and six siblings, Laurn (Marilyn), Hazel Spackman, Ethel (Kay) Andersen, Henry (Colleen) and Sheldon (Patsy). She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter Stephanie, and two sisters, Margaret (Edward) Winward and Virginia (David) Carter.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017, at noon in the Preston Fifth Ward chapel, 213 S. 200 East, Preston, Idaho. Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 East, Preston, and Thursday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
