He was one of a family of twelve children. All have preceded him in death except four sisters, Mrs. Arthur GRAY, Gray, Okla.; Mrs. J. F. HIGHTOWER, Dombey, Okla.; Mrs. Mary BRUMBY, Fort Worth, and Mrs. Martha PENNINGTON, Anadarko, Okla.
The deceased moved with his parents near Cement, Okla., when just a small boy and the family later moved to the Union community in Beaver county. Though Allen never made this his home, he spent a great deal of time here and was known and loved by a wide circle of friends.
Funeral services were held at Blue Mound, Okla., on Tuesday afternoon, May 3, and the remains were laid to rest in the Blue Mound cemetery. Rev. W. C. Byran, Perryton, officiated.
