Dramatic actor. Born in Niš on September 11th, 1880 (according to the Julian calendar still in use by many national Orthodox churches, but on August 30th, according to the Gregorian one). One of the most gifted and most loved actors of the Yugoslav Theatre of Arts. A beautiful figure, a sublime baritone voice, a rare temperament. With his death the last romantic actor was gone from the scene of Serbian theatre. Upon the occasion of the 40 years of his work, the Association of Theatre Artists awarded him a "Ring". The Museum of Theatre Art of Serbia established in 1980 an Award for Life Achievements under the name "Dobrica Milutinovic's Ring" which is given to deserving actors. He died in Belgrade and was buried in the New Cemetery (Novo Groblje).
